Pixus is a leader in next day production of large-format digital graphics. We constantly keep up with ever-changing technology to bring our customers the best possible large-format printing available to date. Pixus currently has 6 different large format printers producing photo-realistic vinyl banners, posters, adhesive graphics, backlits, die-cut standees, point of purchase displays, custom fabric, and more. With Pixus your message comes through loud and clear in high quality bold digital color in virtually any size. Read More.
Todd Landry owner and CEO joined Pixus Digital Printing in 1996 and recently acquired the company from Max and Dianne Hoyt, who founded Pixus in 1992. At that time, Pixus was the first large-format digital printer between Houston and Atlanta, one of the first 50 companies in the world producing large format graphics. Today, we are still the leader in the fast-changing world of digital printing technology. In fact Pixus is the largest producer of tradeshow graphics in the Louisiana-Arkansas-Mississippi region. Over 300 casinos and ad-agencies across the country count on Pixus to supply them with next-day service on all their posters, backlits, banners, slot toppers, fleet graphics, fabric signage, die-cut standees, wall murals, point of purchase signs and more.
Pixus started out using electrostatic large-format printers. Of course, as the technology evolved so has Pixus. We constantly have to upgrade printers to have the best resolution at the most cost-effective solution for our clients. We serve a nationwide clientele, so we are expected to be competitive everyday on price, service, and quality.
Pixus has a history of being an innovator in our field. In 1994, we were among the first to produce digitally printed short run photographic vinyl for banners and adhesive-backed vinyl. In 1996, we launched pixus.com. By 1997, we had introduced on-line proofing for our customers, as well as started direct printing onto silks, cottons, and nylon. Online file transmission was initiated in 1998 to speed our customer's turnaround in getting their jobs produced. Since then, we continue to invest in new technology that has allowed us to lower costs and prices with a fleet of printers that average less than 2 years of use before they are replaced with newer technology.
It is impossible to speak of Pixus without mentioning our veteran staff. Max, our founder, has served as Chairman of the Board of the Digital Printing and Imaging Assn., which was a past international industry trade group. Today Max still serves as a consultant to Pixus on markets and growth strategies. Edna Peltier has been handling our customer support division for over 18 years. Rounding off our customer support staff is Michael Lavergne a 5 year employee and Charles Sarver a 4 year employee. In our graphic design department we have 4 degreed graphic artists with a combined 40 years of digital printing experience. Our finishing department boasts 7 employees with over 60 years of finishing expertise. In total, the company's 15 employees represent over 120 years of combined experience in digital printing.
Longevity alone does not add value. When you combine the desire to help find the best solutions for your customer on a daily basis with years of experience, this is where Pixus really stands out.
Our finishing department along with our shipping and packaging department take great pride in getting the job right the first time, without fail!
We look forward to hearing from you. Give us an email, text, phone call, Facebook wall post, tweet or stop by and have a cup of coffee with us. And if you are in town on Wednesdays around 2:00 please stop by for Warm Cookie Wednesdays at Pixus!
